How to Set Up SBC Global Email With POP Settings on an iPhone
To set up SBC Global email on your iPhone, you need your SBC Global account’s POP and SMTP server addresses. AT&T now owns and manages SBC Global email servers. Fortunately, your account’s POP and SMTP server information will be released on the web site supporting AT&T (resources link). To configure the iPhone Mail application and handle your SBC Global account from your computer, use POP and SMTP domain names.
Tap the iPhone home screen “Settings” icon to open the Settings menu.
Tap the tab ‘ Mail, Contacts, Calendar’ and tap’ Accounts.’ Display your current email accounts.
Tap the option “Add Account.” Displays a list of accessible account kinds.
Tap ‘ Other’ and select’ Add Mail Account.’ Open the New account form.

Type the following domain name in the Host Name in the Incoming Mail Server field type inbound.att.net

In the Outgoing Mail Server field enter the following domain name: outbound.att.net 13.
Type in the User Name field your SBC email address and then enter the appropriate Password account password into the Password field.
The iPhone is set to send and receive messages from your global SBC account. Tap “save.”
