Update Your Text and Email Alert Preferences – My Account Help
Would you like to modify your Comcast alerts email or phone number or just alter the type of alerts you receive?
All your text and email alert preference can be changed in My Account at any moment.
Manage your alerts
To manage the type of alerts you are receiving.
Sign into My Account
On the top of the page, click the Users tab.
Select the user to update alerts and preferences for notifications.
Click Manage to scroll down to Communications & Ad Preferences.
Set email and text preferences to ON or OFF by toggling alert kinds. Whatever you choose is automatically saved.
Change the email address to which you receive alerts
You can use any email address you want, but the default email address on your account will be xfinity.net until you set something else. To set another email, you must add it to your account as a second email address.

Note: although the secondary consumers may make adjustments to their accounts with account management permissions, confirmation emails are sent to the main account holder’s email address.
Change the number of mobile phones you receive alerts
Subscribe to My Account.
At the top of the page, click the Users tab.
Select the user you want to update alerts and preferences for notifications.
To Communications & Ad Preferences, scroll down and click Manage.
To modify it, click Edit next to the phone number.
To register your fresh telephone number, we will send you a verification code.
